About Ghars Wells
Ghars Wells specialises in building shallow manual wells and artesian wells in villages and areas in need across Pakistan.
Ghars Wells is a main branch of Anhar Original, with more than four years of practical experience in water projects and in serving local communities.
The work began as charitable initiatives to provide water sources to communities in need. Over time it has become a more organised and professional operation built on planning, quality execution, documentation and follow-up.
To date, 69 wells have been completed and fully documented, all in Punjab, Pakistan. We continue working to reach more villages and make water easier to reach for families who face shortages.
Our vision
To help make access to water easier for families and communities in need, reaching as many water-scarce villages and areas as possible.
Our mission
To provide sustainable water sources to people in need through carefully carried-out and documented well projects in villages and areas in need in Pakistan — turning every sponsor’s contribution into real, visible impact.
Our humanitarian goal
To help reduce the hardship caused by water shortage in villages in need, so that water is as easy for them to reach as it is for us. Bringing water closer to them, just as it is close to us.
Who we serve
Our message is for Muslims everywhere who wish to contribute to water projects for people in need, with a particular focus on the Gulf countries, Arabic-speaking communities and Syrians living outside Syria. Our current projects are in villages and areas in need in Pakistan.
